What it fixes, and what it can't
It genuinely helps soft, faint, speckled or low-contrast scans. It sharpens what is there, it cannot invent detail that was never captured, so a badly out-of-focus photo stays out of focus.
Only for scans, on purpose
If your PDF already has real, selectable text, MarqPDF refuses rather than enhancing it. Enhancing turns pages into images, which would destroy the text layer and stop you searching or editing it. For those files use compress instead.

Can I fix a blurry PDF?
You can make a soft or faded scan considerably clearer by denoising, correcting contrast and sharpening it. Detail that was never captured cannot be restored.
Will it work on a normal text PDF?
No, and that is deliberate. Those pages are already sharp, and enhancing would convert the text into an image.
Does it improve OCR accuracy?
Usually yes. Cleaner, higher-contrast pages are easier for OCR to read correctly.
