# MarqPDF

> MarqPDF edits the real text inside PDFs and does the everyday PDF jobs: compress to a target size, OCR scans (English and Arabic), convert between PDF and Word, Excel, PowerPoint and images, merge, split, rotate, watermark, protect and unlock, and extract data or answer questions with AI. It runs in the browser at https://marqpdf.com, from code through a REST API with JavaScript and Python SDKs, and inside AI agents through an MCP server.

- Free to try in the browser; downloading needs a free account, which includes 2 downloads, then a Week Pass ($6.99) or Pro ($14.99/month).
- The API: 100 free operations a month; API keys at https://marqpdf.com/?dev=keys. Files are deleted after 24 hours; processing is in Google Cloud, Mumbai (India).
- AI operations (extract, ask, the agent) can run on your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or OpenRouter key.
